I do not think it is unreasonable to ask a Fresh 120 to do 3 - 4 Dungeons before BG.
LFR loot drops at 376, I would bank on needing between the loot drop ilvl from normal (356) and heroic (369) dungeons.
Normal minimum is 30k.
